Resource Extension and Optimization
Optimal utilization, improving durability of wood and increasing recyclability all contribute to extending the resource. Oregon State has a history of innovation in the science of improving wood product durability and specializes in the critical issue of how to sustainably design and manage wood products for a long life and re-use.
